How this website handles personal data
This page describes the current prototype. It is not a substitute for a University of Zadar legal review before launch.
What this site stores in your browser
The light/dark mode is saved in localStorage under lacmis-mode, so your choice survives a reload. Nothing else is written to storage.
Visit statistics
Visits are counted with Umami, an analytics tool that runs on the University of Zadar server shared with the SIT website. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser. It records the page address, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country; your IP address is used only to derive the country and is not stored. The data is not shared with third parties.
Contact enquiries
The contact form does not post to a LACMIS server. Submitting it opens your own mail application with a message addressed to lacmis@unizd.hr. Whatever you send is ordinary email, handled by the laboratory under University of Zadar rules.
If you prefer not to use the form, write to that address directly.
Photographs
Some pages show portraits and event photographs. Consent for public use is still being confirmed with the people pictured. See Accessibility if a photograph is a problem for you, or email the laboratory.
